US service & support

Boston Dynamics, headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts, sells Spot direct in the US through its own sales team (bostondynamics.com/spot-sales) and provides direct support via support.bostondynamics.com, including the Spot CARE repair/replacement service plan. Ownership note: on 2026-07-16 Hyundai Motor Group disclosed that SoftBank had exercised its put option, with Hyundai affiliates buying SoftBank's remaining ~9% stake for about $325 million, taking Boston Dynamics to 100% Hyundai ownership; reporting frames this as clearing the path toward a possible US IPO. No announced change to Spot pricing, warranty, Spot CARE, or support channels as of 2026-08-05 (product, sales, and Spot CARE pages re-checked).
